Originally released in 2001 and now available for the first time digitally, this is The Ratchet Boys Live! Formerly known as The Skanker Sores and featuring members of The Unidentified and NoGoodniks, The Ratchet Boys were integral to the DMV ska and punk all-ages scene. Guitarist Alex Fine created the entire visual aesthetic with his unique and distinct illustrated flyers throughout the late 90s and early 00s. Late lead singer Dan Hess, along with his partner Michelle Chin, created Rude in DC Productions and spearheaded dcska.com ensuring that local talent, of all ages, constantly had a safe place to perform, and catch, shows. The Ratchet Boys worked harder than anyone to ensure that local talent was showcased as often as possible. They were heroes.

This is dedicated to the loving memory of Dan Hess. Thank you for giving us so much.
